I can say the one thing relevant,
To my flows element;
We working to be better then who we are, self development;
Change nothing that I do I just try to do it better,
Not just a poem it's a lecture, exetra exetra;
Career goals set by former heros,
Making history with legends to seperate me from a "zero";
I loved bullies for calling me a "weirdo",
I just want to be that "weirdo" they see owning that Camero;
For real though, I dream big for my reasons,
Of not having a reason of an non perfect season;
Wins come with the effort that we put into this title,
Of "Greatness" no need to worry about my rivals;
I love pressure I face it at all of my recitles,
With words of wisdom in music so I listen to my idols;
Talking has become easy I do not think im an average being,
Because the success I contest I do it for no reason;
I disagree, George. I think you do it for a lot of reasons--and that's what I love about this piece. It plays down your motivators while making them clear to your readers at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love when you talk about turning insults (even mild ones like "weirdo") into fuel and motivation. But I love your poems that talk about the real successes in life--dismantling stereotypes, leaving a legacy, changing the world. Those are so much BETTER than cameroes.
Fair to say?
